The downhill of the Valleè Blanche (White valley) which start from Punta Helbronner, mt 3642, and arrive in Chamonix, mt 1037, is a track of 24 Km in the Monte Bianco complex, alongside the glaciers which, from the Colle del Gigante, go down in the Chamonix's valley trough the so called "Mer de Glace".

It is a fantastic track which runs among granite pinnacle and precipices.

The Monte Bianco's cableway facilities, which start from la Palud, reach Punta Helbronner in about 30 minutes. From here, with your ski, in about 4/5 hours, considering also some stops for photo shooting and lunch, you will reach Chamonix.

After the traditional beer in the french city a bus transfer will take you, in about 40 minutes, in Italy trough the Monte Bianco Tunnel.

During January and February snow and weather condition are generally good along all the track with "winter snow".
From the first days on March until all April, due to a lack of snow, it's possible  you are obliged to pass trough some part of the track by foot.
